Not your average tutor. I've been teaching at University level for a few years, and also volunteering with a tutoring programme so I'm up-to-date with high-school maths, physics and chemistry. The feedback from my students is that my sheer enthusiasm can make very dry material interesting. I've had a very varied career plus a multitude of side-projects where I've used a lot of the material we're covering. I like finding real-world examples - for electromagnetism we looked up a YouTube video of the experiment where a wire jumps out of a magnet once a current is running through it. As well as getting you on track with your subjects, I'll hopefully give you a wider sense of why you're learning all this stuff!
